Barnet FoodShare coop is based at 7 The Concourse, in Grahame Park Estate and serves Colindale, West Hendon, Burnt Oak and parts of Edgware residents.
Fresh raw food items and bakeries supplied and delivered by Felix Project twice weekly, we collect from local ASDA twice weekly, from Marks and Spencer & ALDI Stores daily, Beaufort Park & Mollison Way Tesco Express Stores and LiDL Edgware as and when there is surplus. We purchase farm produce every week from the Totteridge Academy GROW project and fresh kosher meat and fish from Costco Warehouse to supplement food sharing products on Wednesdays.
Any one in need can access food with nothing to proof to qualify, if one is in need, we are here to help. We also are happy to be helped, if any one has surplus to share – not left over that no one else wants, PLEASE! We appreciate the support provided by Neighbourly Community Fund, Martin Lewis COVID-19 Response Fund, Space To Grow Fund administered by Young Barnet Foundation, London Funders COVID-19 Response Fund Wave 1, London Funders COVID-19 Response Fund Wave 2, 3D Crowd NW-London Visors and The Samaritans for helping us to cope better with the increased demand on our services due to COVID-19 Response Fund lockdown.
The incredible support of our invaluable volunteers are greatly appreciated. The strength in a neighbourhood has again been proven, there was prompt response to help the community in time of need. All of our volunteers are residents of Grahame Park Estate in Colindale, Burnt Oak and Edgware. Thanks to Nextdoor Neighbour’s platform.
As demand increases, so our financial needs. Please donate food and or any amount of money. Either or both will help to further the food service. Thank you.
